It is my privilege and responsibility to give you the best of care and guidance. A vital component to mental health improvement is diet and exercise. All three go hand in hand. The better your diet, the more you exercise, the better you will heal from emotional pain, depression, addictions, etc.
Obesity automatically brings with it poor mental health and poor coping skills. Depressed people tend to eat comfort foods and not move a lot.
Healthy exercise regimens and diets are key components in facilitating the recovery we will work on from most mental challenges, depressions, addictions, etc.
Better diet quality and daily exercise are highly associated with better mental health, energy and motivation. Two new longitudinal studies (following patients over time) showed that if patients were able to keep up a healthy routine of diet and exercise daily, accompanied by professional help, then their mental health improved progressively each year.
As we thoroughly review your exercise regimen and eating habits we will come up with a plan that works for you. I would like to come to an agreement with you regarding a food plan and menu, plus a daily exercise routine. If you eat daily, you need to move daily!
I would like to record your current weight and work with you toward a realistic goal regarding a healthy weight and healthy numbers (blood pressure, blood sugars, triglycerides, cholesterol, etc.).
I want to give you insight into your life, hope, and a healthier future. May God bless our work together!
