We know that our feelings follow our thoughts. That is a fact. If you want to be happier, change your thoughts to more upbeat and positive ones. The more positive we are, the better our ability to cope with the events and challenges that we face.
The happiness formula is:
10% circumstances
50% genetic (what is inherited)
40% is within our power to change
Knowing that I can change 40% of my life with my attitude and thinking is a doable task. Today I refuse to let negative, blaming, angry feelings take my 40% from me! Helpful tip: play the song “Happy,” by Pharrell, on YouTube. If that doesn’t get you into happy, I don’t know what will. I play it every morning!
