The last thing we should ever lose is hope, even in the face of the impossible. It costs us nothing to hope. And without hope we are certain to fail.

Without hope, we can’t move. We sit and wait for what we believe is inevitable. We may never know for sure whether we could have changed things; all we know is that we didn’t even try.

I can hope for the best – and let that hope tell me what I need to do to make it happen.

Be hopeful as God promises us: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
