We are all on a journey with fellow travelers. Some are lost, weary, disheartened and confused. We all have a destination in mind, a dream to fulfill that calls to us. Some follow the same worn out paths of destruction, darkness and loss of hope. We long to connect. Others long to connect. Often the gear we take on the journey is too bulky or doesn’t provide for our needs. Often our companions that walk beside us trip us and criticize our every step. Some reach out a hand when they see us lose our footing. At times the trail is threatening and steep. Other times it is easy footing and the scenery is beautiful. Double check your back pack (coping skills and strengths). Be sure your hiking boots are adequate (firm understanding of how to get there), and that your pocket is filled with a navigation map (God’s truth and standards). Then be aware of the travel companions alongside you. Do they encourage you or knock you down? Stay motivated, committed and on the right path with uplifting companions.
Blessings for your day!
